Key Responsibilities
Client and Site Management:
• Understand client requirements and translate them into operational plans.
• Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for solar system installations.
• Oversee the design and complete execution of solar systems.
Factory Operations:
• Manage factory operations, including design, engineering, and execution of work orders for steel structures and assembly.
• Supervise and support factory technicians in their daily tasks.
Solar System Design & engineering:
• Design solar PV systems and related electrical equipment, including cable selection and layout schematics.
• Calculate technical sizing, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Submit and approve drawings/documents, schedule inspections, and ensure compliance with standards.
Project Execution and Support:
• Execute solar projects from start to finish, including after-sales support.
• Perform designing and simulations using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVSYST, PVSol, SAM, and related tools.
• Conduct essential tests required for solar project execution.
Project Management:
• Manage project activities and ensure outstanding customer communication.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and evaluations, including contract and financial model reviews.
• Resolve technical issues with project developers, lenders, and investors, coordinating with internal specialists.
Travel and Flexibility:
• Travel across Egypt for site-to-site projects as required.
• Maintain organized and detailed records of daily tasks and processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate files and documents, including up-to-date pricing information from suppliers.
• Provide regular status reports and develop Management Information Systems (MIS) to analyse market data.
Water Treatment Systems:
• Design and develop Reverse Osmosis (RO) and filtration systems for specific water treatment requirements.
• Oversee installation, ensure performance specifications, and resolve system issues.
• Stay updated on advancements in water treatment technologies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the solar industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVSYST, PVSol, SAM.
• Basic knowledge of solar water desalination systems and energy storage systems.
• Fluent in MS Office.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Solution-oriented thinking and high integrity.
• Ability to travel and work on-site as needed.
Nice to Have
• Fluency in English
• Leadership, self-motivation, and self-dependency.
• Strong understanding of energy industry technology (modules, inverters, mounting systems, etc.).
• General knowledge of solar project financing.
• Collaborative and proactive team member.
• Proven HSE mindset.
• Familiarity with contracts and financial models.
• Working knowledge of IEC/NEC/Egyptian Electrical Code.
