Projects Developer

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Development:

• Understand client requirements, operational challenges, and project objectives, and translate them into clear technical and commercial project requirements.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, technical assessments, and feasibility studies to identify suitable project solutions.
• Develop project concepts and coordinate with Engineering, Product Development, Operations, and Finance teams to assess project feasibility.
• Support the development of projects from initial opportunity through proposal, approval, and execution.
• Identify project risks, technical constraints, resource requirements, and potential solutions.

Technical & Solution Development:

• Develop technically feasible solutions based on client requirements, site conditions, available technologies, and project objectives.
• Work closely with Engineering and Product Development teams to define technical specifications, system requirements, and project scope.
• Support the design and development of renewable energy, water treatment, and other decentralized infrastructure solutions.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and recommend solutions considering performance, cost, scalability, and operational requirements.
• Support testing, validation, and field implementation of developed solutions.

Project Scoping & Engineering:

• Prepare technical scopes, preliminary designs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), cost estimates, and resource requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and other project documentation with relevant engineering teams.
• Support technical simulations, calculations, and feasibility assessments using relevant engineering and project development tools.
• Ensure project requirements are clearly defined and aligned with applicable technical standards and regulations.
• Participate in technical inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting when required.

Project Execution & Coordination:

• Coordinate project activities from development through execution and delivery.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Operations, Procurement, Factory, and other relevant teams to ensure project requirements are properly executed.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, resources, and outstanding actions.
• Identify delays, technical issues, and project risks and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Support the transition of projects from development into implementation and ensure proper handover between teams.
• Provide technical and project support during implementation and after-sales activities when required.

Commercial & Business Support:

• Understand the commercial requirements of projects and consider cost, pricing, profitability, and scalability when developing solutions.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, presentations, concept notes, and project budgets.
• Work with Business Development and management teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and commercially viable.
• Participate in client negotiations and discussions by providing the required technical and project inputs.
• Support due diligence activities, including technical, commercial, contractual, and financial reviews.

Funded & Development Projects:

• Support the identification and development of grant-funded and development projects related to renewable energy, water, agriculture, and sustainable infrastructure.
• Contribute to concept notes, technical proposals, grant applications, project budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Research funding opportunities, development programs, and potential strategic partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide the technical and project information required for funding applications.

Stakeholder Management:

• Maintain effective communication with clients, partners, suppliers, consultants, development organizations, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical meetings, workshops, site visits, conferences, and project presentations.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear project actions and coordinate follow-up with internal teams.
• Maintain strong relationships throughout the project development and execution cycle.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and organized project files, technical documents, drawings, calculations, proposals, and project records.
• Maintain project development trackers, timelines, budgets, and status reports.
• Prepare regular project updates and management reports.
• Track project performance, risks, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to developing project development tools, templates, processes, and dashboards.
• Conduct market and technology research and provide relevant insights to support new project opportunities.

Renewable Energy & Water Solutions:

• Support the development of solar energy, energy storage, water pumping, desalination, cooling, and other decentralized renewable energy solutions.
• Research new technologies and applications relevant to NoorNation's products and target markets.
• Support the adaptation of existing NoorNation solutions to different customer requirements and project environments.
• Stay updated on relevant renewable energy, water treatment, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
