LifeBox™ by NoorNation Powers the Latest agricultural technologies for UNIDO’s Tomato Value Chain Project in Egypt
UNIDO - Green House
In March 2024, NoorNation proudly worked with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to power one of Egypt’s most innovative agricultural pilot projects: the Green Dome a smart, mobile greenhouse designed to grow tomatoes more efficiently, sustainably, and all year round.
Unlike traditional greenhouses, the Green Dome inflates like a balloon in minutes and uses advanced climate control systems to manage internal temperature and humidity. No heavy structures. No permanent foundations. Just smart, scalable food production.
To power this cutting-edge system, NoorNation deployed a 15 HP LifeBox™, delivering:
15 kW of continuous clean solar energy
Operation of two industrial fans (7.5 kW each)
Zero fuel consumption, zero emissions, and full mobility
Why LifeBox?
Because the system requires reliable, stable energy to run 24/7 something diesel generators and unstable grid connections can’t guarantee.
LifeBox’s compact, off-grid-ready design was the perfect solution.
This initiative is funded by the Slovenian Development Cooperation and implemented in collaboration with Egypt’s Agricultural Research Center (ARC). It aims to support tomato farmers through the Latest agricultural technologies, increased value chain efficiency, and enhanced youth employment opportunities in agriculture.
With LifeBox™, NoorNation isn’t just delivering clean power, We’re enabling a new era of food security, innovation, and sustainable agriculture across Egypt and beyond.
