In August 2022, NoorNation deployed its 3-in-1 LifeBox system at Ahmed Borai Farm (32 acres, Cairo–Alamein Desert Road), delivering clean solar energy to power a 30 hp submersible irrigation pump and provide 24/7 off-grid electricity to farmhouses and workers’ residences.
The system includes a high-efficiency solar water desalination unit, reducing salinity from 3,000 ppm to just 180 ppm, producing 10 m³/day of fresh water used for drinking, livestock, and poultry.
Notably, the system’s greywater output feeds a large fish pond, and the nutrient-rich water from the pond is then reused for irrigation, helping cut fertilizer use by 30–40%.
