In January 2022, NoorNation installed a LifeBox™ unit at El-Farouk Shahin Farm, located on the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road, powering 30 feddans of high-quality olive trees.
The challenge?
Installing a solar system without losing too many trees during setup.

With 70% less space required compared to traditional solar setups, it significantly reduced the number of olive trees that needed to be removed
preserving much of the farm's long-term investment in mature, high-value trees.
The system provides 53 kWp of clean solar energy to power a 50 HP submersible irrigation pump
all with zero diesel and maximum efficiency.
It also helped reduce monthly operating costs by over EGP 20,000.
